Paul Medlin

Seniors Program Sepcialist

Born and raised in Modesto, California, I proudly hail from a lineage of Stanislaus County Medlins dating back to 1878, renowned for their wheat farming legacy. The Medlin Road just outside Crows Landing stands as a testament to their pioneering spirit. After embarking on a 20-year journey with the Air Force, I transitioned into a rewarding career in the Aerospace industry. Together with my wife Gloria, we embrace life's adventures, whether traversing scenic trails or exploring new destinations in our trusty RV. Our love for wine tasting adds a flavorful dimension to our experiences, enriching a life dedicated to exploration and enjoyment. Committed to community betterment, I channel my passion into supporting local initiatives such as Love Stanislaus County, striving to make a positive impact through volunteer work and advocacy.

What is your role at Love Stanislaus County?

I'm the newest member of the Senior's Program at Love Stanislaus County. My involvement will be interacting with those Seniors referred to our organization by Stanislaus County. Meeting their needs is my top priority.

What do you love the most about your job?

Love Stanislaus County's working environment is all about community. I enjoy the close-knit relationships between my coworkers and the dedication to their work and its mission.

What do you love most about living in Stanislaus County?

Stanislaus County is in the heart of California's Central Valley and I love its easy access to everything California has to offer. Modesto is my hometown and as the saying goes, it's two hours from everywhere you want to be. Camping, wine tasting, snow skiing, any water sport you could imagine... And there's always the ocean just two hours away.

In what ways do you participate in the community?

Acts of service tends to be my love language. I love getting involved with community/neighborhood events. Fostering neighborhood involvement is one of my current pursuits. Becoming familiar with your neighbors is a great start when helping others generate civic pride.
