The International Rescue Committee helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future.

IRC Internships are available to current and recently graduated undergraduate or graduate students looking to apply their skills, gain real-world experience and impact lives. Prospective interns should be currently enrolled in an educational institution or a recent graduate. The IRC is looking for self-starters with critical thinking abilities with specialized skills in particular areas such as: sociology, international studies or teaching English as a Second Language. 

Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Currently enrolled in an educational institution or a recent graduate
- Apply and attend an IRC orientation
- Be interviewed by IRC staff
- Complete a background check
