
Kion
Kashefi
Kion Kashefi was born and raised in Modesto, CA. He currently lives in Modesto with his
beautiful wife Sarah Kashefi and his two children, Nevin (8) and Naia Kashefi (10). Kion
graduated from UCLA in 2006 with a B.S. in Biology. He later also completed a Master’s
Program in Nutritional Biology at UC Davis in 2010.
Kion currently works in the agriculture industry. He gained his first experience in
agriculture in 2007 when he took a job at Stanislaus Farm Supply. During 10 years at the
company, which specializes in farm products and services, Kion’s career developed and grew. He
gained experience as a PCA and in sales and management and ultimately became the Vice
President of Sales.
In August of 2017, Kion decided to leave the Farm Supply to pursue new opportunities. He’s
currently an owner and works as the Managing Director/Agronomist for Anteris Agronomics, a
firm that provides farmers with compliance-related services such as data collection and
development of nutrient-management plans. Kion is also currently a Regional Sales Manager for
Ag Technologies, a company that sales specialty fertilizers wholesale. He is also involved in his
family’s Pistachio Farm operation in Kern County.
Kion loves the Central Valley, especially Stanislaus County. He has been an avid volunteer for
Love Modesto and Love Stanislaus County for the past 8 years. Kion looking forward in
continuing to bring a faith-based approach to helping others through Love Stanislaus County.
Why did you choose to be a board member of LSC?
I have already been an avid volunteer with Love Modesto and Love Stanislaus County. I would like to get even more involved with LSC and this is a great way to do so.
What do you love most about being on the LSC board?
That I will be a head decision maker for an organization that is so important in bettering our city and county.
What do you love most about living in Stanislaus County?
I love agriculture, and it's where some of my closest friends and family still live....it's home! We need to take care of our home.
In what ways do you participate in the community?
I work in the community...I have been a volunteer in the past for organizations like the Gospel Mission...I have been a local Rotary member...and currently still help as a volunteer for LSC and Love Modesto.
