Students at our school are always looking for new opportunities for improvement. Our students are hardworking and dedicated individuals who have experienced much adversity throughout their life. With this being said, they are willing to adapt in order to overcome and complete any challenge in their path.

My name is Jesus Covarrubias and I am the Career Technician and Navigator at Elliott Alternative Education Center. I recently graduated from California State University Stanislaus with a bachelors in psychology and a minor in communication studies. As I was going through the process of graduation, I thought of what career I could pursue that would allow me to have a positive impact on people. I then heard about the role of a career navigator and decided that this would be a great way of helping those who need help planning their future.
