The Parent Resource Center, a Family Resource Center, is a private, non-profit, child abuse prevention agency. The Center offers support to parents through in-home volunteer mentoring and on-site parenting education classes to decrease the risk of child abuse, neglect and family violence. The goal of the Center is to provide emotional and educational support for parents in nurturing and guiding their children through the critical first 5 years of a child’s life.
Mission Statement:
The Parent Resource Center’s mission as a Family Resource Center is to build strong, healthy families by offering education and supportive services to empower and strengthen our families.
Vision Statement:
All families are healthy and nurturing; children feel safe, stable and loved.
